How to find and install wordpress plugin
To find and install wordpress plugin is very similar like install wordpress template, that you can install through 3 ways install plugin directy from wordpress admin dashboard, upload the plugin’s .zip file or upload plugin to folder /wp-content/plugins on your localhost / host.
To find the wordpress plugin, go to Dashboard -> Plugins -> Add New
You can find the plugin by typing the name in the Search Plugins box on the right and then Enter, or view the list of plugins through filters such as Featured , Popular , Recommended. If you are new, you should go to the Popular section and then install the plugin in it.
Do not rush to click the Install Now button, click the plugin name to see detailed information such as the description (to know what the plugin does), Screenshot and Installation (how to install).
To know if the plugin is good or not, you should look at the numbers downloads and Average Rating (user reviews). If you see a high score, download a lot, then install it because it is trusted by many people. Ideal to use because not every plug-in is able to work. But with common plugins, there is almost no error, if an error occurs, it is only because your host does not supported (This is why I often recommend you to use good support host. for WordPress).
After making sure this plugin you want to install, press the Install Now button to start the installation and click the Activate button to activate.
Or if you have a plugin on your computer, go to Dashboard -> Plugins -> Add New -> Upload Plugin and upload the plugin’s .zip file.
To find a other plugin, you should go to https://wordpress.org/plugins/ and find the plugin by name, tag, etc. Then you go to admin dashboard, copy the plugin name and find out right because the plugin library is from there.
In the next part of the tutorial on wordpress plugins, I will show you how to use a typical plugin so that you will have a platform that uses other more complex plugins.
